The Friday all levels class is by donation. It is open to everyone,
$5 - $15 is recommended. All types of poses are covered in this class.
Sundays 9 am class goes until 10:50. This allows for more focus on inversions
and restorative poses, in addition to the entire range of asanas.
This is a level 2 - 3 class for those with some Iyengar yoga experience and other seasoned students.
Sundays at 11 am is a class for beginners. It teaches the fundamentals of Iyengar yoga. It is great for anyone new to yoga, or wanting to restart public classes. Students tell me this class is physically challenging and yet very encouraging and well paced. Students of all body types and abilities are encouraged to attend. If you are new to my classes, this is the class where you should start.
5:45 - 7:15 is for continuing beginners
(level 2) and those with some yoga experience. This class refines standing poses, introduces
students develop their inversions and build their
strength and stamina.
Tuesday at 7:15 is for serious, seasoned students and teachers. This class assumes the student has a fundamental understanding of the level 1 and 2 basic poses, including regular practice of inversions. This challenging class introduces the classical intermediate Iyengar poses including all the inversions, regular pranayama and philosophy. THIS CLASS IS ON HAITUS DUE TO THE FARMER'S MARKET
Students are encouraged to make a committment to a come to class regularly. If you have injuries or illnesses, are menstruating or pregnant, please let Heather know at the beginning of class so that we can make class comfortable and appropriate for you.
